PATTY HEGWOOD

Patty Hegwood, a native New Orleanian came to Kanab in 2006 and has been a resident of Kanab ever since. Patty has performed in many venues through professional theatre and stand-up comedy to audiences ranging from 200 to 2000 and loves to make people laugh and generally feel great. Her father instilled in her a love of film from a very early age and as she says, “any time I want to feel close to him, I call up a good ole Bette Davis movie, or anything with Cary Grant and Katherine Hepburn”. Movies shape who we are and aside from their intrinsic value having a place in our society; movies also give us a wonderful departure through tough times while helping celebrate the good, or just generally scaring the wits out of us!
