about the founders
Jeff and Britt Roth are a husband and wife creative team. Jeff received his Masters of Fine Arts at the Savannah College of Art Design and is an award-winning filmmaker. Britt was a corporate, wedding and festival event planner in Austin, TX.
When they first discovered Kanab in 2018, its rich movie history was very apparent, and it was surprising that a multi-day film fest didn't already exist. With their varied background they felt confident they could pull a first of its kind off, and in April 2019, they hosted the inaugural event with much success, and are now entering into their fourth year!

They own Dark Sky, a boutique RV campground in Kanab, and are very involved in the local community. Their event company, B. Events, also hosts Wheels Up Kanab in October.
