Born and raised in Utah County, Alyssa Holbrook gained a passion for film at a very young age. Growing up, she took immediate interest in horror movies and the makeup process in motion pictures.
Inspired by watching the hit TV show “Supernatural”, Alyssa tried out a slit throat makeup for the first time at a local comic con. After receiving positive feedback, she continued to pursue SFX and soon fell in love, taking a particular fondness for grossing people out. Alyssa has been working as a makeup artist for seven years, branching out her skills in beauty, film and character makeup. In 2019 she graduated from Hollywood’s Cinema Makeup School with the Complete Track.
Alyssa is based in Los Angeles and Salt Lake City.
